16 month feeding schedule
Can you please share what your dc is eating & how much? Example half of grilled cheese sandwich & 10 blueberries. I'm having such a hard time when it comes to ds eating. I never know what to feed him (he's a picky eater) & how much. Also, how many ounces of milk is your dc drinking? TIA!

Breakfast: A waffle or pancakes (today he had 4 silver dollar pancakes) and some kind of fruit puree (he LOVES Trader Joe's Pear Sauce and Applesauce with Cinnamon). Sometimes blueberries (10-15 cut into quarters) when we have them. Sometimes oatmeal mixed with fruit.
Lunch: I mix veg purees with pastina or whole wheat cous cous (one of his little bowls full). I heat up mixed vegetables and he picks up those to feed himself. He likes turkey and cheese (a slice or two of each) which I rip into small pieces. I give him cheese a lot, not so much turkey because of the sodium.
Dinner: Sometimes whatever we're having, sometimes Gerber Raviolis.
Snacks: Beech Nut fruit and veg pouches, Gerber puffs, fruit bars (Earth's Best and Trader Joe's).
He loves mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, french toast, lentils, any kind of bread/rolls, pasta with sauce. We've tried (but he's not too crazy about) fish sticks, meatballs, and yogurt.
For liquids, he has one cup of water a day. I fill 3 6 oz. bottles of milk a day but it varies day to day how much he has. He LOVES his milk. We working on transitioning off bottles.
He's got a HUGE appetite so he can polish off a full grilled cheese on his own. I still incorporate purees into his day because he loves them and it gets fruit and veg in him with no effort. He still eats regular food with it.

Thank you! I'm so glad to hear that you still incorporate purees. We do too...otherwise he wouldn't eat any veggies.

I also am having issues and my twins are 24 months. My one twin is an awesome eater..the other is difficult & is just starting feeding therapy. One suggestion the therapist gave is turkey rolled up (colecuts) my son LOVES IT!!!! He drinks to much milk right now but Dr says no more then 24 ozs a day & that is even alot.

My DD is 17 months and every couple week sit changes. Currently we do: fruit for breakfast (she used to have eggs & toast, now she won't eat anything else) Snacks are pretzels, teddy grahams, cheese iits, fishies, banana Lunch: Mac & cheese w/ veggie, grilled cheese, Sun Butter & Jelly, pasta & sauce w/ veggie, (she used to have cold cuts, but now doesn't want them ever) Snack after nap Dinner: Whatever we eat, she will eat it 75% of the time. 10 oz bottle, sometimes a snack, ice pop, ice cream, fruit
She used to eat so much more healthy, but she is becoming more picky, so it is what it is right now.
