15 mo old twitching while falling asleep?

When Derek was an infant we saw a neurologist because there were a handful of episodes where his head would shutter as he was falling asleep. They did some tests and said he was not having seizures. At 6 mo or so it stopped. I haven't noticed anything since. I rock him to sleep every night. Tonight, as I was rocking him, I felt little twitches or spasms type feeling in his arms and legs, almost like he was startled. He did it a few times. No crying. No flailing of his arms or legs like you would expect in a seizure. And it did not interrupt his sleep.

Could it be normal movement as he is going into a deep sleep? I am going to call the ped on Monday but just wondering if this has happened to anyone elses DC.

I'm pretty sure this happens to a lot people when they fall asleep.
It happens to both DD and DS -- and DH has told me I do it too.
