I seriously feel like throwing the towel in. I know it's not really over until my beta tomorrow, but I have zero hope at this point. I've been through 4 rounds of clomid, 3 with IUI and then an IUI injectable cycle. We leave for vacation on Sunday, so I have to talk to the RE about what to do with this next cycle. My natural cycles are 42 days long and I really don't want to wait that long to start again. I'm wondering if he can give me Clomid without CD3 bloodwork so I can start them while we're in Jamaica and just pick up with the monitoring when we get back. It doesn't really make sense to go from injectables to Clomid, but I don't see how else I can make this cycle work.
I'm really considering IVF at this point. We have zero coverage for IVF so I was considering micro-IVF. I only produced two mature follies on the injectables so I'm not sure it would be worthwhile, unless they can do something to help me produce more.
I'm rambling now. Just getting sick of this and needed to get it out. And of course to top it off I'll have AF while on vacation.
What is your age and dx?? If you want to give IUI another shot, maybe they can up your dose (gonal, follistim?). How many follies did you make with the injectible cycle ??
I am so sorry!!! I was hoping this would have been it for you. I read on another post that someone had the same issue regarding IVF coverage, and some clinics provide grants. It probably would not hurt to ask your RE if they offer this. I really hope it works out for you.
Thanks everyone. I'm 26 and dx is PCOS. We've been TTC for 14 months. On Follistim I only produced 2 lead follies. I just don't know what to do for the next cycle.
