13 weeks and....
The exhaustion is still so extreme. Anyone else have severe exhaustion? How did you deal with it? Some days I just want to cry I'm so tired. Does it subside at all during the 2nd trimester?
This coupled with the nausea just has me wanting to crawl under my covers and stay there permanently.

Re: 13 weeks and....
I'm only 6.5 weeks along and I am already thinking I'm not going to make it through. I've never felt so terrible in all my life.

Re: 13 weeks and....
My exhaustion was terrible in the first tri and then went away, only to return with a major vengeance at about 17 weeks. I asked my doc about it at my 21 week appointment and she said if I was still feeling this way at 25 weeks (which is tomorrow) she was going to re-check to see if I'm anemic. I'm still tired all the time, but the utter exhaustion has seemed to have gone away a bit. It is really hard to deal with and def the hardest thing I've dealt with since being pregnant. Try to take naps whenever you can, and stick to a schedule of going to bed early and at the same time every night.

Re: 13 weeks and....
Thanks everyone! I'm so afraid one day my boss is going to walk by my desk and find me fast asleep! It hits me really hard around 2:00pm
DH and I never spend time together anymore because whenever we're home I'm either green from nausea on the couch, or fast asleep.
This baby also hates everything I eat, no matter what it is.

I hear ya! Hearing that you are 13 wks and not feeling any better does not give me much hope. I am 8 wks and try to keep telling myself that in just 4 short weeks, i will be feeling better....ugh

Re: 13 weeks and....
It DOES go away, i promise... I was SO exhausted in my first tri - it really only started getting better last week (i'll be 16 wks on weds). I could totally tell you when it was 2pm, not by my watch, but by the fact that i was so painfully tired i wanted to cry at that time every single day. I found that getting up from my desk to visit the restroom and fill up my water bottle did help temporarily, but as soon as i sat back down i wanted to put my head on my desk and snooze. If we went out on the weekends, after the second store i had to go home and take a 2 hour nap. We did make it to a third store once but my DH took pity on me and took me home when he found me in the laundry detergent aisle hanging on (literally) to a shelf so i didn't collapse in a tired heap on the floor. I also fell asleep on the couch at 8pm every night without fail. It does get better! Hang in there!!

Re: 13 weeks and....
my 2nd trimester has been a lot better, the only thing I can suggest is go to bed early, I used to go to bed around 8pm in my 1st trimester!

Re: 13 weeks and....
I think you will feel better after the first trimester passes. My m/s didnt go away though until 16 weeks and I am still very tired, oftentimes going to sleep at 9 pm. But if I'm tired, I dont push it...and just get a few extra hours of sleep. Most feel their best in the 2nd trimester though...hope you feel good soon!
