12 week sono/appt
Is this an internal sono or external? What else do they do at this appt?

external
they also pricked my finger to take some blood
i think about 2 weeks after this, i had to get more bloodwork taken

Your talking about the NT scan? Mine was both internal and external but a lot of girls said there's was only external. They took my vitals, pricked my finger for a blood sample and then did a thorough sonogram. Measured the baby and so on. It was great to see the baby moving around so much! Definitely amazing.

Mine was external only. They took vials of blood, not a finger prick. It may have just been one vial.

Mine was internal only (every place is different) - also had the finger prick blood test.

Mine was internal and external. I think she only did the internal becuase she was having trouble finding one of my ovaries They also pricked my finger.
