12 week appointment

at next ob appointment, will be having nuchal/ultrascreen- in two week.s can't wait to see the peanut again. anyhow, I will be exactly twelve weeks. the practice has a maternal fetal medicine doc that comes in and does nuchals. based on your experience, will i also see ob at this appointment? my doc did say i don't need to make a separate 12 week appointment. jsut asking since I have a couple of things I want to ask OB about

hmmmm I dont know. We had ours done at the perinatel dr's office.

I w ould call the office and ask ahead of time. So they may be able to schedule you time with the Dr if it wasnt planned since you hae questions.

I didn't see the doctor- but I had it done at the Genetic Counseling center (by OB's office is actually on the hospital campus)

Wanted to add that I had me regular OB appointment scheduled for the following week- so that's when I saw her.

If your 12 week appointment is also you regular monthly appointment, then yes, I would think you'd see your dr

I had two separate appointments, however, but that could just be because I had to go to a separate place for the nuchal translucency separate from the doc's office. I'd say the especially if you have questions you should ask if you could get some time with the OB while you're there. good luck. We just had it 2 weeks ago and it was absolutely amazing!

I had my dr's appt immediately following my u/s, since they did them right at the office. But they made me aware that I had an u/s and then an appt....

When I had my unltrascreen, I just saw a technician. I didn't see the doctor until my next appointment.
