11 wk appointment
I had my 11 wk appointment today.
My Dr. is concern that I have been so sick and not holding down enough fluids/food. I told him that I have been eating the Pedialyte Ice Pops to attempt to stay hydrated. He said I should conitinue doing that...but he wants to see me back in 2 wks...he may make the decision to have me on an IV at home to help keep fluids in me. Also in anotehr 2 wks I will be officially in my 2 tri...and if the morning sickness continues he may want to put me on medication to help with the nausa.
Also...the concern of my cervix being too low is now back....my uterus doesn't seem to have moved up at all...the baby is pretty low.
on a good note...the heart beat sounded nice and stong...135 beats per minute....(probably another boy)
I'm not on bed rest officially at the moment...but he said to be prepared that it might happen sooner than later.

I was the same way early in my pregnancy. I ended up hospitalized for 2 days for dehydration at 11 weeks, then I was put on Zofran once a day then as needed. It was a lifesaver! To this day (I'm now 33 weeks) I vomit without it. don't be afraid to take it - it really works!
