1099 minimum interest for statement?
HI
I just realized that I never received 1099s for 2 accounts that have minimal money in them. Does anyone know if you only get a form for interest on a savings account if you only make a certain minimum of interest on that account? I have all my other 1099s but those accounts have much more money then these 2 small accounts.

usually you get a 1099 for interest if the interest earned is more than $10.

yup...banks aren't required to give them out if it's less that $10 interest.
