1 year olds-how much milk?
How many ounces of milk does your DC drink a day? Also, do they drink anything else? DS loves water but I haven't really given him any juice yet (besides a sip here & there). My dr. feels there's no reason for them to have juice. What do you do?

I still BF in the AM and before bed, but during the day DS drinks about 10-12 oz of milk and gets as much water as he wants. I don't give him juice as a rule, but I won't deny him it like if we are at a party and he wants some.

DS drinks about 16 oz of milk a day. If he's still thirsty, he gets water in his sippy. We haven't bothered with juice either.

DD drinks 20-24oz a day of milk. Other than that all she drinks is water.

DD gets 16 oz of milk a day. She also gets a sippy with diluted juice with breakfast, lunch and dinner.

juice..I give diluted.
The best juice is called honest kids-verrrrrrry little sugar and anti-oxidants

Ped said between 18-24 oz a day. Other than milk, he drinks plenty of water during the day.
Our ped also feels the same way yours does about juice. See's no reason for it.
