1 year old suddenly constipated
DS has been constipated on and off for over a week now. He has never been like this before. Usually a good pooper!!! His diet hasn't changed. He is still on jarred foods due to a severe soy allergy. He is also on Elecare formula. He eats the same foods from Beech Nut. He has never had a problem before. I stopped giving him banana's when this started. Didn't help. Can too much sweet potato's bind him up? It is in a lot of the foods he eats. But it never seemed to bother him before. I have switched him to apple juice and upped his amount of juice today. He doesn't seem bothered to much by it. I know what to stay away from. But what else can I give him besides prunes and pear juice???

Peaches help my daughter go. Try it! Also water works better than juice for us.
