1 year old - drinks at daycare?
What do you give your one year old (13 months) to drink at daycare?
Right now, DS nurses 3x a day and gets about 4-5 ounces of BM and then water at daycare. I am ready to stop pumping. Right now, we are not letting him have dairy so milk is out. I am also not introducing almond milk since I am trying to determine what is causing his eczema.
Can he just have water? He eats like a champ so I am not overly concerned about calories.

My DD is the same age. She has milk with each meal and water inbetween. I don't plan on introducing her to juice (watered down) until I cut back on her milk. I think breast milk, and water are fine.

We give milk (soy) due to lactose issues. Center will not allow "Nut" milks due to allergies and it is a nut free facility.
If you do not want DS to have milk just tell them to give water. My daycare is very good about diet accommodations.

1 year old - drinks at daycare?
I'm curious, I get in the beginning it can be a sign of an allergy... but when did eczema in general become a sign of an allergy? My brother's always had it, still gets it on his hands/arms, it's from the weather, the heat and humidity, not an allergy/intolerance to something he eats... and that's never even been mentioned as a possible cause, not even when he was really little. I'm honestly just curious.

One of my co-workers, her daughter ended up being allergic/intolerant to milk, so she just doesn't have any and her daughter does not like soy, etc., so she gets her calcium from other sources and sticks to water. She had really bad eczema for a while too and hasn't had it since milk was pretty much cut out of her diet.

DD is at the babysitter for about 6.5 hours
Right now she gets 5 oz of bm, and lots of water.
School's over this week, and the pump is going away. She won't drink milk as of right now, so she'll get water and food anytime I leave her starting next week.

At that age DS was having milk and water.
Now, over 2 YO he has mostly water and if given milk only with lunch. I have asked them not to give him juice, he has only had it when they have had a party for something special

Never had to bring anything. DD gets milk with her breakfast and lunch and then gets water throughout the day. Daycare provides it.

Dairy allergy is only one potential cause. My son has eczema and does not have a dairy allergy (He has been tested).

My skin issues are tied to diet but also my hayfever. So it not just food allergies.

Dd has a mild dairy allergy along with eczema which I think are related too. Her ped just wanted her to have 2 servings of calcium a day and didn't care where they came from. Milk is not a necessity once you wean. I would give water and look for nondairy sources of calcium.

DS has been dealing with eczema since April - right after he was prescribed antibiotics for an ear infection. It seemed like it cleared up but then it redeveloped on his neck - he's always itchy and has a horrible rash. I tried ever lotion and nothing was/is really helping.
From what I've read, many people believe eczema is caused by leaky gut. I have recently added a probiotic to improve his gut health and have cut dairy, eggs, nuts, and strawberries from both of our diets. His skin looks better but still not 100%. This weekend, it'll be two weeks so I'm hoping it'll look even better by then. I think nuts and strawberries might be the culprits.

At 13 months, my LO nursed 2x a day and had water all other times. I was worried about calcium so I made sure she had a serving of yogurt and a serving of cheese each day.

My older son had lactose intolerance so we brought in Lactaid for him to drink, along with water.
My younger son just drank milk and water.
