1-Hour Glucose Test on Monday...
And I do have a history of GD...I failed my 1-hour with my first pregnancy with a 186  and was sent straight to the nutritionist without ever even getting a 3 -hour.
Of course, there is a good chance that I have GD with this pregnancy as well, but I'd love if that weren't the case.
Do I fast for this test? Eat as usual?
Office will call me probably tomorrow to remind me about the appt...so I guess I can also ask them when they call!

I had to fast. I just scheduled my appt. first thing in the morning. They actually gave me the drink to have at home, then I just got to the office within the hour of finishing it and they drew my blood.
Of course, I failed, and I just took the 3-hour on Tuesday. Didn't hear from my doc's office yesterday, so I have my fingers crossed that I passed the 3 hour!

With this pregnancy this is how I did the test as well . I fasted and was given the drink to take home. An hour after drinking the drink i went in and they drew my blood. I got the results right then and there. But with my first i DIDNT have to fast. I had a small breakfast before taking the test. I passed both times. And dont count yourself out yet. My best friend had gd with her first she is now due right around me this time and PASSED her one hour. I hope you do too. Im praying for you

The OB told me wether to fast or not.
I was told not to fast, but not to eat a heavy meal before the test.
I avoided sugary foods and ate light that day.

I was told to fast the hour before the 1 hour test. Good luck and hope you pass!!

My dr told mr to fast. Said not to eat anything heavy between 10 and 12 then no food past 12.
