And what's your opinion? Is there a catch to this? I'm interested in them. TIA!

we do and if you are in a union or have an affiliation, they waive one year of membership...a couple of things we've encountered...the day you get the delivery is the price you pay...in other words, no locking, always market price..also, you get a BASIC contract with whomever ends up being your local provider..we had something fixed, got the bill and called HEAT USA...they did help us to reduce the bill, but it wasn't covered (thank goodness it wasn't a major repair)...any other questions, please ask...we are happy so far...

I use them.
At first I was very skeptical and I was only going to use them temporarially, but I haven't had any issues. I had a billing error on my first delivery as well, but they were quick to get it fixed.
Overall i'm quite pleased since they give you a free service contract.
I find it to be a happy medium between locking in for a year (and paying a lot for oil), and doing COD (where you can't get a free service contract).
Oh and another good thing about them, no contract to sign. So you can join and if you aren't happy with the service you can cancel at any time.
If you have any questions, FM me or just post your questions here.

I think you can get a list of the things that ARE covered from your local service company. So you know in advance what is covered and what isn't.
I did call them once because I had a strong oil smell coming from my boiler and the guy pretty much said it needed annual service. He also saw a place where oil leaked so he wiped that up. No bill on that service.

Thanks, ladies! I decided to try them out. I figured there's no harm in trying them, since you can cancel at anytime. It really does seem like a nice medium between locking in and COD.
