1 2 3 Magic - reviews wanted for young children & discipline
Has anyone tried the method of discipline....I am looking for reviews.
My 5 yo DS has gotten us to a point where we feel like there is nothing that works. His behavior at school on Friday was the last straw. We have tried taking stuff away, time outs, talking it out...... My sister said her ped told her to read it and said it was successful for her so I started reading it this weekend. It was interesting and I saw a lot of mine and DHs behavior. I tried it this am.....and DS responded. I need to finish reading the book tonight but was wondering other people's reviews.

I just started this a few weeks ago from a suggestion on here. I cannot believe it, but it works!!!! I know have to read the part about staying in bed, and try that.
Good luck!
Best advice is really follow the no talking...I always would try to rationalize either behavior or punishment, but this works sooo much better!

I found that was really hard this morning but I need to just shut up. I always feel like I need to justify his punishment and it was interesting that the book says t stay quiet. I told DH that he needs to read this book because we will both need to follow the method.
