Re: '08 HONDA ACCORD-EXL Help!

I got the EXL-V6 about 2 months ago and love it.

Only thing I don't like is when you arm the alarm, it doesnt make a low noise, the lights just blink. Well, I'm usually walking away from the car, so I never know if it really locked or not. If you hit lock again - the horn beeps REALLY loud. I think this is with all Hondas though.

Overall it's not a problem - just a pet peeve!

I have an 05 Honda and I believe the alarm is not armed until the horn beeps. When you press the button the first time, it just locks the doors.

I plan on getting the EXL in a few months once my current lease is up. I am extremely happy with my car and can't wait to upgrade

Make sure you drive it... I had an 06 accord and could not stand it. The ABS is overly sensative IMO, and the gas mileage wasnt anywhere near what it said on the sticker. Luckily mine ended up floodedChat Icon

Re: '08 HONDA ACCORD-EXL Help!

I'm on my 2nd Accord, was a few months shy of getting the '08 so I took an '07.

Love the car, love the way it drives, although it has less pickup than the Coupe (my fave car). I really have no complaints about it.

Although unless they do something new with it by the time this lease is up, I might look at something else......just to shake things up......

You will be happy with it I'm sure.
What are you driving now?

Re: '08 HONDA ACCORD-EXL Help!

I have the 06. THe newer body style is RELALY nice. My neighbors have one.

As the PPs said the horn alarm is LOUD. It drives me nuts especially in a parking garage.

And yes, the ABS are very sensitive.I am used to them now. But when others driv it, they notice the brakes right away.

Overall it's a great car.
