My fiancés family are from Italy, so we requested an Italian speaking DJ and MC for our wedding. They watch TV in italian, listen to music, etc. What percentage should I tell the DJ we want italian music played or should I make them a list? I can picture my brothers already WTF is this music?! Personally, I would like about 10 songs played in Italian, max. What do you think? 65% dance, 25% English slow, 10% Italian slow. My fiancé is very concerned about the music and the "older" guests. We have the final meeting soon, so I want to make sure everyone is on the same page.

It's probably best to ask the DJ. I'd probably only play 2-3 Italian slow songs with most of them being played during dinner. I was by no means a bridezella, but I would not cater to other people's music choices at my wedding...

Re: ....
I actually went to a wedding a couple years ago where the bride's entire family was from Italy. They had a band with a DJ that played and sang a ton of Itailan music.
DH and I actually really liked it and thought it was something different from the typical wedding.
Everyone got up to dance, especially after the drinks were flowing.
