I think they are assuming you will rent it and all those things will be fine. its not like its a house. he can just re-list. And you don't know if he has been telling people the place is rented, but if it doesn't work out I will let you know, what is your number
did you ever mention that you currently rent a place? if so, then he probably is going based on that. thinking your in good standing with your previous LL. maybe you guys talked about that?
