The active ingredient is Hydroquinone 1.5%. I have used that in prescription form. I do not know the percentage I had. It worked to fade a spot on my face but when I stopped using it, the spot got darker again. I could not have used it all over because it is a harsh ingredient and my skin is sensitive.
