Why do you make things difficult on yourself? You know all you have to do is bring said band-aid to your lovely wife and she will be more than happy to assist you with your injury. After all, she is a medic first baseman!!

Duct tape fixes everything..... 
(Or masking tape, electrical tape, Scotch tape, etc... I've used most of them at one point or another...  )

Technically, you CAN say "Duck tape", it's just a brand name of duct tape. http://www.duckproducts.com/  , so if DH bugs you again, just say you were referring to the brand, not the generic tape...

I love winning arguments with technicalities.... it's one of the things I'm good at.
(I also explained why I sometimes use "I could care less" correctly, in another thread. Sometimes I *could* care less.... not much, but I probably could care a tiny bit less...  )
