Not sure about Sharpton, but I know that "All In the Family" could never exist today which is sad because it was a revolutionary and most amazing show and it offended EVERYONE.
Dog will be back just like Imus. Someone who doesn't get swayed by special interest groups will pick up the show.

I was just having that convo about All in the Family awhile ago. Neither could the Jeffersons.
That's so true. They were so cutting edge for their time, and broke through so many taboos, which was GOOD - they made fun of our prejudices, and showed everyone how narrowminded they were; how sad that 30 years later, they would probably never have been aired.

I love Dog & his show. Its my guilty pleasure. I'm not surprised his loser son sold him out, I think its crazy that something that is said in a PRIVATE conversation can be used against him. This country is too big brother for me, constantly watching & listening to every move everyone makes, its sick.
The thing I'm most upset about is Dog reaching out to Sharpton....that's what really turned me off. IMO sharpton is NOT a mediator or supporter of civil/human rights. He is a $hit stirrer & a very one sided person, i don't see how he can help dog.

I love the Dog. I'm sure they will put him back on the air soon. They probably dropped him so that they don't get any bad feedback from the media.

It isnt about bad feedback, it is about money. It is always about money. Special interest groups threaten to boycott companies that advertise during the programs and the networks, whether cable or not will not risk losing advertising dollars.
