Friday night is probably the "birthday" celerbration and Saturday might be because BIL wants to go out with just the guys and his birthday is the excuse. I migth be a little annoyed but I wouldn't say anything. Remember, you are doing your thing this weekend so DH could always complain about that.

I don't think you're being b!tchy; I think you're upset that you and your DH haven't been able to hang out alone. I know the feeling. DH & I had a crazy July with some event or plans every weekend. It's frustrating, but the busy times will be over soon enough and then you'll have him all to yourself.
As for this weekend, I would be annoyed, but I'd suck it up and have a fun night for yourself and your friends on Sat. night.
