I was thinking about this too. When my DD was little i worked 2 PT jobs and we were able to work our schedules so one of us was almost always home wiht her. A lot has changed in 7 years, house, more financial responsibility, so i was thinking about looking for someone out of a house or to come to mine for this baby, rather than daycare. I have no idea where to begin...

I am a SAHM, but my neighbor pays her babysitter $65 a day for her 6 month old, and thats CHEAP compared to what some other people play.
From what I hear, the average rate is $10 an hour.
