Anyone been to Mexico since the hurricanes?
Our honeymoon got postponed because the hurricanes closed down our hotel (we went on a short trip instead) and we have reservations for June. The hotel is in Cancun but not on the main strip. It reopened in December so I am sure it is in good shape, however I keep hearing how devastated the rest of Cancun is. As much as there is to do at the resort, I'd like to go out as well...
Has anyone been there since November?

My SIL was in another part of Mexico in February (of course I cant remember the name right now...)
She said it was beautiful!

Jennie, did you check tripadvisor.com for recent reviews on their hotels? You can read about other hotels nearby and get a general idea of how much has been repaired.

Thanks Rebecca- didn't know about it! I have checked the hotel site but it doesnt give much info except what is reopening and when...
