SAHMs: Remember to change your car insurance
I was still paying car insurance based on driving to my old job (20 miles each way) so I switched it to pleasure and saved over $300 a year on our insurance.
It never dawned on me until my aunt mentioned it at dinner the other night.

It is a good reminder. I never drove my car to work because I worked in the city and took the train, and when I got my job on LI, it was less than 5 miles away. It does save you lots. I just went through Geico to get the insurance on my new truck and I was pleasantly surprised at how little it was.

Wow..thanks for the reminder!!!! I'm going to call today!
UPDATE...Allstate actually charges more for pleasure 
The only thing is if I can prove I drive under 7500 miles a year, I will reduce my rate. Guess I'm waiting till next year!
