Why is she spitting up ALL the time?

It driving me crazy (and ruining my wardrobe Chat Icon )

E's spitting up multiple times a day. This started a few weeks ago - possibly coinciding with her starting solids AND drinking more formula.

Could it be the formula? I BF, but also supplement and she's been getting more formula lately.

Also, I was using powder before and now use more RTF - would that matter? Would the food matter? Or that she's teething?

I'm going to give her a few days w/o the formula to see if that helps.

Anyone experience this? She's almost 5 months.

edited to clarify: when I say she's drinking more formula, I meant more formula vs. BM, not necessarily more oz.

You could be over feeding her. Is she starting to sit up? That can make them spit up, too. Also, if she's constipated or having to "push" more, that makes them spit up.

I also think you might be over feeding her. Usually they eat a little less formula when they start solids, at least that is what I noticed with DS. Now that he is eating 3 times a day he drinks 24oz of formula and before solids he was drinking between 35 & 40oz.

Re: Why is she spitting up ALL the time?

interesting ideas, I didn't think of those.

She's rolling over all the time, but not really sitting up, at least not on her own. She's not constipated, but does grunt more when pushing since her poops are more solid now that she's started food.

She's a snacker, so she never eats more than 4-5oz at a time, so I don't think we're overfeeding her. And she's always been on the low end of the spectrum with oz/day. She's having maybe 20oz most days.

when I say she's drinking more formula, I meant more formula vs. BM, not necessarily more oz.
