I agree. The only "professional" pics I had taken of Grace were with Barbara and that was because we were donating the $$ to DebG. You are NOT a bad mother.
We are hosting Thanksgiving and I could care less if my family showed up in their pajamas.  What matters most is that we are all together. I did not get her a Thanksgiving outfit.
JMO, but I feel that the $$ I would spend on kiddie kandids would be better spent going into her 529 account for college.  I can take pics of her at home and I do ALL the time.
Plus, my dad used to be a professional photographer (he did weddings) and growing up we had cameras in our faces ALL the time. I guess that is why I am not into the whole kiddie kandids thing.
