What do you think?

I am up in the air over what to do Saturday. Do I want to bring my son to get his Christmas pics done at Kiddie Kandids, or do I want to go to Ikea in Paramus (I think that's the one, I don't want to go to the one in Elizabeth or on LI) to talk to a kitchen design specialist.

By the way it's my b-day that day. I know what a weird day to spend my birthday but really these are the only 2 things I want to do. Plus we need to be home by 3pm so DH and I can shower before my family comes to take us out to dinner.

Kiddie Kandids pros:
-doing it before the Christmas rush that starts after Thanksgiving
-getting it over and done with
Kiddie Kandids cons:
-not sure if I like that they don't do the backgrounds if the child can't sit up yet, as I like the christmas backgrounds but was told they can't be used if child needs a prop to hold him/her up and my son will need a prop.
-cost money - I only want three 8x10's and one or two 5x7's and I know their packages are better priced than doing 3 individual sheets. Is it worth it? I just sent a whole bunch of photos to DH's aunts and uncles and my aunts, I wasn't planning on doing it all over again. I also don't want to do wallets since we have a huge Christmas card list and I think it would be more economical to take my own picture of him at my aunt's on Thanksgiving when my son is dressed up and just have copies printed at the Kodak kiosk at Walmart (or have my sister do them on her photo printer - but I think she needs a new cartridge and don't know if the cost of that exceeds the cost of doing it at the Kiosk).

The one thing is I can go to KK on Friday, Dec 1st on my own with DS as I have the day off work.

OR

Go to Ikea? It would be fun although we're not ready to renovate yet. I do want to get an estimated cost, but if we do it after June (which could be the case) the prices go up so is it even worth going to check out prices now.

Yes I know I'm making a big deal over nothing. I'll probably go to KK but I'm bored and wanted to think what ya'll thought.

I just had Molly's done at Picture People and she's only 12 weeks. Here are how they came out so I'm sure you can get some cute ones too.

id would go to kk. get the christmas pictures done, beat the rush. ikea will be good to go anytime.

I love those pics!! We are bringing gianna to picture people next week, can't wait now! I didn't know you got them done there!!
