To feed or not to feed

Ellie is congested and it's waking her up early every morning now. I understand why she's waking and there isn't anything more I can do for the nose but would you feed your child or wait til their normal wake up bottle time. I want to help her and be understanding but I'm also concerned about reinforcing this new wake up time and making it permanent.

I feed because I know when I have a cold how much I want water when I wake up because of mouth breathing all night long, but then again, I still get up nearly every night so I'm guessing you don't want my advice.

All rules go out the window when Roman's sick. I just deal with any repercussions later. I would do whatever I could to comfort her.Chat Icon

I agree if she seems uncomf. or hungry/thirsty I'd give a bottle and fix the wake time later when she feels better. Ryan doesn't eat as much when sick so I feed him whenever he seems to want to eat.

Yeah, I'm the same way I just worry that I'll regret it later, but I gave it to her. She definitely wanted it. We'll deal with it when she gets better.
