do any of you
have sharp pains in your rib cage? I get them every once in a while, well at least 2 times a day and the Dr. said the baby can not be up that high right now. but sharp pains are going threw my rib cage and it is very uncomforatble to sit here at work..

Is it right below where your bra sits and concentrated on the right side? Is it really painful and almost "contraction" like?

right below my bra yes and on the right side yes! i have no idea what a contraction feels like but it is painful at times!! What is it???

It's possible it's a gallbladder attack. Unfortunately, it's very common for pregnant women to develop problems with their gallbladder. I just had mine removed last week, 11 weeks after delivering. I didn't have attacks until after Molly was born and I thought they were something else completely. I passed a stone, which was worse then labor, and developed jaundice. That is how I was diagnosed.
ETA: I just wanted to add that I usually didn't have attacks after eating even very fatty meals. So, anything can really trigger them.

o wow Thanks! I will have to tell the Dr. when i go back in 3 weeks that it is reallt bothering me... Thanks again!!

I get them too. sometime they go up into my chest or across my back. I think it is gas.
