When DC started cereal
Did you find that it took them several attepts before they would actually swallow it. Also, did they spit it up?? I made it very watery and didnt burp DD and she spit it up. Should I be burping her after????

Re: When DC started cereal
I never burped her after it. But now that I think about it, it's probably a good idea to burp them if it's watery. It's a new concept for them, so it's normal for them to not knwo what to do with it at first.

Re: When DC started cereal
DD has had cereal the past 3 days. I made it very thin and she did well eating it. She is 5 months old and I think she was ready to start - she had been interested watching me eat for a couple of weeks even opening her mouth when I did. She did spit up a lot of it on the first day but not since. I did burp her afterward.
