Would you be mad or am I overreacting?

I haven't really gone too far with Molly in the car alone. Yesterday, when I was driving home, I went around a turn and the carseat tipped over and then it happened again. I forgot to mention it to DH last night but I went out to see what was wrong. Well, when he installed it, he didn't use the "locking clip" for the seatbelt and doesn't know where it is. Without the "locking clip" the seatbelt doesn't' stay tight and that is why it tipped. I also learned that it has a locking system and that I can use that instead. DH doesn't understand why I am so angry and thinks I'm overreacting by telling him that his laziness in not reading the direction put our daughter's safety in jeopardy. Am I wrong????

I would go to a police station to have it installed by a professional and leave DH out of it.

You are definitely not wrong...that happened in my DH's car and I thought it was b/c there was something wrong with the seat belts and they weren't locking properly... I think I need to find this locking clip!
I had it installed at a police station and they didn't tell me about that
