What kind of ladder do you have?

I know this seems kind of stupid, but I need to get a LARGE outdoor ladder and I was wondering if something like this is worth the price?

(around $220 at Lowes - it can fold or be used straight)

Or should I just go w/ something like this ($89)

? Anyone have any opinions? Just don't know if I want to spend $250 on a ladder unless it's really worth it?

we have the gorilla. It was a gift to my DH from his guys at his Bachelor Party (thought this was adorable). I think they run around $300 ish.

Werner is a good brand. If you are looking for advice, I would ask then at Lowes or Home Depot. That would be your best bet.

I have a 6 step ladder with a tray on it - but I used it for interior mostly. Its a good size to clean the gutters on a levitt cape...Thats not as high as you want though. I paid $40 from home depot I think

Thanks! The 1st one I posted is Werner. I would like to get at least 20 ft (we have a colonial)... I guess I will go to Lowes and see what they say.

Go with the first one. It's very sturdy and it's an all in one kind of ladder. By that I mean you have both small and large in one package. It's a little heavy but this is the price you pay for this kind of ladder.

We have a Werner which looks exactly like your first pic. We love it. I believe we purchased ours at Costco.
