Hey Ladies,
We found these townhouses that we are going to 99.9% offer on one of them. Some of the units have a coal burning stove which is a money saver because its electric heat. My questions are:

How safe are they?
Cleaning, difficult, a service?
Stupid, where do you get the coal?

My mom dislikes them because they take up about a 2x2 foot space in one of the bedrooms (which makes the room even smaller and broken up).

What would you do? Look at units that have them or don't? Is it worth the savings in money to make a small bedroom even smaller (ie fitting a twin bed will become tough) and we do plan on having at least 2 kids in 5-7 years.
