I couldn't open this, and don't know what it is about, but my best friends three year old rubbed the sponge on her hand and got a severe burn from it.

Sorry I can't figure out how to post the link, but it is about a five year old boy who rubbed the magic eraser on his face and got chemical burns from it! They say it will not leave scars, but the poor child was in so much pain. I know magic erasers are cleaning products, which children should never play with, but you never know. The story is a warning not to let your children use them.

I did a search on it to check the validity. Several links come up about people who received chemical burns from it.

I love this product but will be sure to use gloves with it & keep it away from my children.
