I think video is a little sophisticated for their age group. Mostly b/c you will not want to watch herky-jerky camera movements But, if you think Emma has a steady hand and a good eye, go for it.
Two big things that turn me off - lack of good lighting with it, and no handle! How do you make a handheld video camera for kids without a handle?
