ugh...
I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE teething. It has made my normally pleasant little girl into a screaming, crying mess. I feel SO badly for her. I've tried tylenol, orajel, humphrey's, everything I can think of. Frozen binkies, teething rings, ice cubes in that mesh bag thing, etc. NOTHING works It's weeks like this that make me REALLY miss having JT home at night.

Re: ugh...
How much does Ava weigh? The reason I ask is that when Bella had a REALLY bad ear infection and high fever at 5 months, the only thing that worked for the pain was Infant Motrin and the doc OK'ed it because she weighed over a certain amount...this is also the same with her teething pain. If we don't give her motrin, HELL...if we do, you barely know she is teething!

Re: ugh...
Ava weighs about 15lbs. now. I have been hearing that Motrin is the way to go, but I thought they had to be 6 months. What's the weight for it?

MOTRIN MOTRIN MOTRIN.....
reduces swelling!
I'm gonna go check her baby book for her well check sheet to see how much she can have....hold on.....
OK...at her 4 month well check she was 14 lbs 1 oz and was able to have 1.25 ML of INFANT Motrin/ADvil OR 1/2 tsp of CHILDRENS Motrin/Advil.
have you tried watermelon in the teether net? Aly liked it because she could bite it. She also liked wet rags.

Re: ugh...
Thank you for the doseage Shana. The problem with wet rags and cold things is that she HATES wet and cold things! I don't know, I'm just hoping that SOON a freaking tooth will pop. The problem is that I feel at least three distinct spots on her bottom gums where teeth are pushing up. so it's not even just one tooth. It's three
