What will I see/hear
At my appointment on Friday? I will be 9 weeks! Will I get to see anything or just be able to hear the heartbeat?
Will the doctor need to do anything internally? Sorry I am so clueless!

At nine weeks we saw the baby... well its starting to look like the form of a baby and heard the heartbeat.. I bet it will be a lot larger than what you expect!

Oh you will for sure see the baby if she does a sono. At 9 weeks you should be able to not have an internal sonobut each Dr is different with that and you will hear the HB too!

At 10 weeks I had an internal sono -- we saw the arms, legs and head. We saw that the yolk sac is almost gone. It is amazing and I imagine at 9 weeks it will be similar. Oh and yes we heard the heartbeat. We didn't see it tho because there is now a BABY around that heart!!

I can't wait for Friday just to get hear. It's so silly but I think that hearing the heartbeat will give me some peace of mind!!!

Not silly AT ALL. I felt exactly the same way....although I still worry it is less after hearing and seeing the HB!!

You should be able to see the baby & the heartbeat. We have a similar due date & I saw the heartbeat very clearly my last sono 7 days ago.
I have not heard it yet, and I understand about feeling peace of mind when you hear it. I cannot wait either

I remembering having an internal sono and saw and heard the heartbeat. After you see and hear that, which IMO is the best sound in the world  , you will def have piece of mind!
