My childhood home up for sale again
After my wedding last year, my parents sold their house. They couldnt have been more fortunate to sell when they did. They sold at $550
After all was said and done, I found out that the house was bought only to be taken down and rebuilt to be a much grander house. Kinda upsetting because my dad had put blood, sweat and tears building a brand new bathroom and making the house itself perfect. Once our wonderful neighbors found out, they immediately complained and promised the contractors that they would vote against it. The contractor decided to put the house up for sale again, but asking price was $650. I just checked and now its down to $599.
I'm just glad my parents were able to get a good amount of money and that the house that I had so many memories in, wont be destroyed.

Wow - Jenn! Your home looks like it was so nice! Much more updated than my childhood home is. Very happy that your parent's were able to get a good deal a while back. Is it weird to see your house up on MLS?

Ya, its sad. Especially when you see the two crumby inside pics. There's so much more to the house including the ginormous backyard, but they feature two ugly pics.
