Need diaper help

Parker is in Pampers Swaddlers size 2. They are for babies between 12-18pds so I know they are the right size. She has blown out her diaper a number of times as well as leaked if she sleeps for more than 4 hours at night. Obviously these aren't cutting it. Did anyone have a similar experience? What other diaper/brand should I try? I wanted to get some input before buying a new pack.

Thanks so much and Parker thanks you as well Chat Icon !

Re: Need diaper help

DD is in size two's during the day, but at night she is size 3 pampers cruisers.

The size 2's couldn't cut it at night.

DD never really went by the poundage on the diapers, she was out of size one's way before her weight on the package.

I always go by if her coolie is hanging out, or they leak more than a couple time, time to go up a size.

Re: Need diaper help

We use the same size Pampers and he's only leaked a few times ever (usually in the morning if I didn't change him all night). I put them on really snug though, DH thinks its too tight but it seems to keep everything in for the most part!

Re: Need diaper help

DD is just over 20 lbs and is in size 4 which is supposed to start at 22 lbs. She's been in them for several months now.

I don't go by what the package says, I go by leakage. Bump up to the next size and you'll be fine!

Re: Need diaper help

wow! i really thought they were the right size. She is only 11 weeks and 13+ pounds. Both types of leaking are happening out the back of the diaper. I will def try size 3!

This was happening to my friend. Her son is under 10lbs and was leaking out of the size 2 at night.

She now uses the size 3 and has no problems.

I have used the Costco brand size 1-2 and the Huggies size 2 and i've never had a leak.
