Rules with formula
Since I BF, what are the rules with formula? I just tried giving Connor a bottle and he only drank 1 oz. and he keeps falling asleep. I don't want to waste it. Can I put it back in the fridge and reheat it? Thanks!

Re: Rules with formula
No you can't. It is good for 1 hour after they drink from it or 4 hours from being mixed if they have not drank from it. As she got older I did reuse bottles but I never heated them or reheated them but I wouldn't chance it at a young age.

Re: Rules with formula
When James wasn't finishing the bottle, I would sometimes put them back in the fridge and reuse them. Especially if he only drank an ounce. I always thought that rule was a gimmick from the formula companys to get you to buy more formula! He never had any problems.

Re: Rules with formula
No you shouldn't. Formulas are made so that it is broken down very easily for the baby's digestion. Once his/her saliva hits the formula it starts to break down. If you start a bottle then wait a while, it will have started to form/grow bacteria etc.
