Re: I am very worried...

Do you have him in daycare?
Do you think that they could be over feeding him during the day?

He has 3-4 8oz bottles and then oatmeal once a day and 2 jars of either fruits or veggies a day.

Re: I am very worried...

I don't think you are giving too much food at all, cause that is about the same as Ali eats - only she eats less formula in a day. She tops off at about 6 oz (when she finishes one)

The only thing I do different is that I give her about 2 tablespoons of cereal and a half jar of fruit (or veggies - I will start them in the next week or so) at about 10 in the morning. About 2 hours after her first bottle. Then she gets another feeding of cereal and fruits at about 6:30-7:00 and then another bottle about 8:00ish.

If he's gaining weight and doesn't seem lethargic or sick, I would guess he's fine but call your doc to assure yourself...

Sometimes, just like us, babies have " not hungry days" I wouldn't worry too much about it.....

I agree. Unless you starts acting lethargic or losing a significant amount of weight, I would wait until the next pediatrician appt to bring it up.

Sounds like he's eating plenty to me. My daughter never took more than 24oz in a day and never a full jar of food. I'm sure he's fine as long as he's having we dipers and gaining weight I wouldn't worry at all.

I was going to say the same thing, he sounds like he gets enough to eat, as long as he is satisfied I wouldn't worry.
