Quick question regarding the pill...
I feel stupid that I don't remember this...
But how soon after starting the pill is it effective?? Some research says 7 days, others say to be safe, a full cycle..however I THINK my doc had said 7 days last time when i first went on it...
Can you tell i'm eager to get back into the swing of things?? It's been a loooooonggg time!

Technically it is 7 days but I always tell my patients to use a back up for a full cycle just to be 100% certain. When I was on the pill this is what I did.

I guess I will wait it out then..I cannot use condoms, i get a horrible reaction to the latex so its not worth it...hmmm. You are right though. I don't want baby #2 just yet!!!

I waited a full cycle just to be safe. Condoms bother me too so we just had to wait it out...its worth the peace of mind.
