Depends WHERE in FS you want to go.
Taxes are CRAZY and houses are very $$$ where Lori and I live.
I hear ya guys, but you can pick up a starter cape that needs a little updating for under 400.

Yeah that house was in contract at $365k.....No one lives there. They moved to florida and are desperate to sell....so if you know anyone looking in the area.....I am sure you can get a good deal on it.

I was waiting for the FS peeps to chime in... I knew I wasn't crazy!!
And I'm so sorry, but $400K for a "starter" anything that needs gutting or "massive updating" isn't a good deal - anywhere. JMO.
