Hair cut...
I can't do it anymore...I've been buzzing his head and now he needs a "big boy" haircut. My dh wants to bring him to his barber. Jared is a squirmy wormy and will be all over the place...
What to do....

A little bit better...no fever..
I don't know if your read my post yesterday..."temper temper" but after he woke up he had a 20 minute tantrum...I would have never made it out to you.
I'd like his hair to be neat for tomorrow's pictures.
By the way Mel...do you know how to get there???

I'm glad Jared is feeling better, we missed him yesterday at the playdate.

My son was really difficult with haircuts for the first 2 years. He was very squirmy and would fidgit a lot.
We started bringing along out portable DVD player with one of his fav. movies in it and that did the trick. He didn't even realize he was getting a haircut b/c he was in a daze over the movie

We used Zippity Doos in Huntington.
The kids sit in cars and can watch a video. It was great.

We took Andrew to the barber DH goes to the first time. No fancy kids place for him I went too, of course, to take pics. But he was being a little difficult, so I sat in the chair and had Andrew on my lap!! The next time, he sat in the firetruck seat and the rest is history now that he knows he's getting a lollipop, he loves getting his haircut!
