I think if you have some juice it counts as a fruit serving!

I never eat fruit. The closest I get is Apple Juice. It's probably not the best thing for me, but I am told that my pre-natal covers all that.

Eat what you are hungry for - enjoy your pregnancy. I have been terrible with the fruits and the veggies. As long as you are taking your prenatal and not doing drugs - I think you are fine!

Re: Do you really have to eat....
I wish! My first trimester I ate whatever I could stomach, and that usually consisted of only bread! Now I try to eat a piece of fruit everyday, but it depends on the day. My point is try and eat as healthy as possible but don't be upset if you can't meet those requirements EVERYday.

I agree. Your digestion slows when you are PG which can lead to constipation. Eating fiber is supposed to help.
I also keep canned fruits that I like in the pantry in case I run out and don't have time to shop. And you can also freeze fruits and use them to make yogurt smoothies for breakfast.
