I've been getting them all day long from "California" different numbers each time, but same area code and exchange.
SO ANNOYING!!

i have not had a ny telemarkers call my house since the way i leave a message on my answer machine i say that my husband and i are not home all soliciters please put us on your no call list everyone else leave a message. i tell ya it works

just ask if you can put them on hold and then leave it on hold for 15 min LOL...or ask them for their home # so you can call them back -ha!

I love the Seinfeld episode when Jerry gets a call from the telemarketer:
Jerry: This isn't a good time.
Telemarketer: When would be a good time to call back sir?
Jerry: I have an idea, why don't you give me your home number and I'll call you back later?
Telemarketer: Umm, we're not allowed to do that.
Jerry: Oh, I guess because you don't want strangers calling you at home.
[hangs up the phone]

My brother used to let them start talking then put the phone down and come back to it about 15-20 minutes later to see if they were still talking!
