How many of you girls are in apts?

I'm just curious. We're in a 2 br apt & will probably be for a little while more (after baby is born). Did you manage? Was it rough? Right now we have workout stuff/desk and a computer/armoir in our "spare" bedrm

we are in a 2BR, 2 BA and will be moving our home office into the living room. baby will have 2nd bedroom.

We are currently in a 2 bedroom apt. Right now we are in the process of making the second bedroom the baby's room/guest room. Our problem is that it was DH's only office. He doesn't have any other office (where he "goes to work.") He is either traveling or working from home. I think we'll have to leave when the lease is up in April. We need another room so he can have a dedicated office. When he is working from home he's on the phone with clients, so I'm not sure our living room is gonna work for that.

we are in a 2 bedroom condo and will turn the spare room which is for storage right now, into the babies room

I live in a one bedroom apartment, so Ava shares our room. Granted the bedroom is huge, but it really stinks, I feel like a two bedroom apt. would have made a huge difference for us. But it's just until June, then we're buying something.

We live in a 2 bedroom apt. Our spare room was the office and cleaning that room out was hard, we just don't have the room for everything. We ended up getting rid of our desktop computers for laptops. The rest of the stuff is in the basement. Now that it is the baby's room, we still don't know where to put all of the stuff. It is quite cramped in the basement and she doesn;t even have a closet. We are hoping to look for a house next summer.

We are in a 2 bedroom apt now. We hit a dilemma though. I would love to go all out with the nursery, but we are getting a ton of company over a 3 month span.

So, I have a queen size spare bed in the baby's room. I love that my mother and sisters will be here, but DH works crazy hours, and with the baby, I really don't want anyone living on my couch.

So the crib will be in our room for awhile, then we things settle down, we will do the babies room.

I think we will be in the apt for awhile. We just moved to NC, and for DH to move up in his company, he has to be flexible to move around. So no commitments yet.

ETA: we split up the living room. our couch now floats in the room and behind it is the computer.

Our spare room is a combo dining room ( we dont have one ) computer room, storage room. Its off the kitchen with french doors, We are going to have a lot of moving aroudn to do to find room , but we dont finacially have the money to buy a house in todays market. The market is changing and I want to not buy till it settles....So this is where we will be for at least a few more years.....or in another apt.

We are in a house, but we rent. I plan on having the baby in our bedroom at first. Currently what is the baby's room is the guest room. I am going to move the bed from that room into the other spare room and make that into a guest room (I should probably get on that)

But, you can do it in an apartment. SMIL and DH talk about when they had FIVE people living in a one bedroom apartment. FIL and SMIL had one bedroom, DH was a teenager and slept in the dining room and my two little SILs slept in the hallway! It wasn't for very long (they were waiting for their house to be ready) but they made it work.

We are renting in an apartment complex - 2 bed/2 bath..there is alot of room but when I imagine all the baby products/toys we will have i wonder how much room will be left lol

We're in a two bedroom and just the thought of having to move out all the furniture in there and find a place for it somewhere else in the apartment is stressing me out so much! I really want the room to be just for the baby, so I really want everything out of there!

We don't plan on staying here forever so I know its just temporary.

We're subletting a 1 bedroom apt that was converted into a 2 bedroom - the 2nd bedroom is our guest room/office and it's small - french doors that look out into our livingroom. We're going to have the baby in our room for the beginning and figure it out from there. We might be moving right after the baby comes, maybe we'll buy something - we just dont know yet. . . we figure it's a good way to keep us from buying things - we just dont have the room!

We have one bedroom. It's working fine for us right now, but once DS is in a crib, it will be tight.

I live in a one bedroom. We changed our dining room to a living room and made the living room baby's room.

So, yes, it is manageable.

Honestly, I have to say, last night I was thinking to myself, "I'm so glad we don't have a second bedroom because then I'd have to walk to another room to check on her a bazillion times a night!"

We have a 2 bedroom apt. For the last 2 weeks, DS has been sleeping in the crib which is in his room and I mointer him from the mointer (both sound and sight). It works out great because he has all the room he needs to move around in his crib.

I am, In a one bedroom apt and may be there with the baby. We are looking for a house and not sure how promising that will look.
I hope that if the baby comes and we arent in a home yet that we arent in the apt too long. With the baby and then baby stuff...Im not sure how good we will fit. Its tight as it is.
Only good thing is that my mom is my daycare and I live below her so all she is a few stairs away.
