When did you start giving cheerios/puffs?

This was inspired by Shana'a thread. When did you start giving some table food? Soft things, puffs, etc. Did you wait for teeth? Isabella has her 2 bottom. When the time comes I'm going to be soooo nervous she's going to choke. I'd rather wait until she has a mouth full of teeth

I think my son was about 7 1/2 months when i started puffs and those round gerber disks, 8 months for cheerios. he had 3 teeth at the time. the puffs melt as soon as you put them in your mouth so the baby doesnt really need teeth for that, but the cheerios i was a little paranoid, at 1st i broke them in 1/2, or soaked them in formula for a second.
