X-Post~ Contractions ?
I posted this on pregnancy too.
So I am still having contractions. They are slightly stronger and this morning I had period like cramps for about an hour. When I had Damien I had an epidural at 2cm and never progressed past 6cm. If you can believe it I kinda forgot what contractions feel like (I guess good news for Momma's that are nervous about labor) I have an appointment with my OBGYN tomorrow morning so she can check my status and let me know whether or not I can return to work ( I am so not ready to stop working this quickly) I think part of me is in denial that this baby may very well come early. So my question is this: Did anyone have long term contractions like a few weeks and still carry the baby to term?

Keep in mind you only have 5 more days until you're considered to term. As soon as you hit 36 weeks, you're there!

Re: X-Post~ Contractions ?
I started contracting at 24weeks and pretty much contracted on and off til I delivered at 39wks. I never dilated til I went into actual labor.

Thanks
This was my thinking but my Dr said she would like me to keep the baby in for at least three more weeks (my scheduled c-section is in 4 weeks) So I am nervous but I guess whatever happens happens I can't control it.

It was real contractions not Braxton Hicks?

Re: X-Post~ Contractions ?
I'm pretty sure I had "real" contractions on and off for about 6 weeks with Gianni. 4 weeks with Gabriella. Then again, who knows. I know I was in labor when I walked in to be induced with Gianni and they were the same thing I felt for the weeks before.

Yup they were very real. I was actually hospitalized when they first started because they were coming every 2minutes but thankfully everything turned out fine.
