be planning a trip to California for the end of Feb? (I am due in the end of April)
DH has a business trip and I'd like to meet him out there afterwards.

No. Worse comes to worse you can always cancel it right? Your Babymoon - I say go for it (unless your doctor says not to of course  )!

I was told that you are safe to fly until 36 weeks so you should be fine... and definitely lucky to enjoy the warm weather out there while it will be freezing out here!!!
